No reason to fret! Not everyone is going to get a perfect line right away! It might even take a few tries to get your flow but it’s worth it once you get the hang of it…Lets troubleshoot:
Are you using the right size tip for your fingers?
To find the correct size do a dry run over 4 fingers from your pinkie to your pointer. This is the tip you will use for 8 fingers.
Do the same for your thumbs.
It should lay right on top of the nail without pressing down or having to move it around too much. You can also squeeze the tip to curve or flatten it to conform better to your particular nail shape. It’s alright the tip is wider than the nail as cleanup is simple and the tool can also be trimmed if necessary*.
The way you dip the tool is a very important part of your French Tip Dip routine.
It’s important that you dip the tool UPSIDE DOWN so that you can regulate how much polish you get on the tool. Dip only as deep as you prefer your line.
Let the excess polish slide off and wipe the back of the tool to remove excess as you would any nail polish brush.
Application:
After you’ve completed the above two steps try moving quickly from the pinkie to the pointer BARLEY touching the tips of the nails.
The tool MUST be parallel to the nail surface to get the best results.
*Warranty void if tool is altered.
